And welcome to Supera Moras No 49, ‘The Internet Conclave’.

My name is Vincent Pouchain. I am a French Freemason of the United Grand Lodge of England.

​

I have the privilege to be the current Supreme Ruler of this unique Conclave, Supera Moas ‘The Internet’ Conclave Number 49, an international Conclave with members from all over the world coming from different countries and Masonic Constitutions recognised by United Grand Lodge and Grand Conclave.

​

Supera Moras is a regular Conclave under the jurisdiction of Mark Masons Hall, London, being very special due to a wide diversity of languages and cultures.

​

The Order of the Secret Monitor is one of the mysteries and privileges of Freemasonry and is open to all Master Masons in good standing. Its sub-title speaks for itself: the Brotherhood of David and Jonathan. Based on the First Book of Samuel, this Order is organised into two main Degrees (the third being the Installation as Supreme Ruler) and explores what we are taught from the very first Degree in Freemasonery: Brotherly Love. In our Conclave, we apply it in a unique way: thanks to the benefits of the Internet.

We meet physically three times per year in various locations in England, but between meetings much of our work is taking place on line, via our e-mail list and this web site. Our members are in contact to share their Masonic knowledges, to practice by visioconference, to visit each other, to become involved in charity activities or just to spend quality friendship moments together.

In 2024, the January meeting was held in Clayton-le-mors where I had the privilege to be install as Supreme Ruler of this Conclave and also President of Ribble Valley ‘The Internet’ Consistory n°138 in the Order of the Scarlet Cord.

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of D-Day, our April meeting will be held in Normandy, near Gold Beach. A unique opportunity to combine Freemasonry and the duty of remembrance.
